Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
Cameroon Partnership In Development (CPID) is a Cameroon registered non-profit organization with a mission to improve lives ,whose rural sustainable development model-the Student International Development Engagement (SIDE) engages students from abroad implementing rural community development projects in health , education ,clean water, improved agriculture, energy, and expanding livelihood opportunities , while also providing an opportunity for students to learn about rural community development combined with a cultural immersion

Student volunteers has been integral to the mission, strategy, and programming Cameroon Partnership In Development rural community development projects.
Through their involvement, CPID is bringing healthcare to remote villages by setting up mobile clinics and distributing medication, enhancing rural education through class room renovation and equipment, and community development projects in digging wells and skills training.

Our Objectives:
• To improve lives and fight extreme poverty, working together with the villagers , implementing small scalable community development projects
• To empower, train and connect grassroots groups working on community development projects to the resources and information they say they need to expand livelihood opportunities in their rural villages
• To harness international volunteering services to work together with the local village people to implement holistic sustainable community development projects.

Santa-Sub Division in the North-West Region of Cameroon, is made up of ten(10) remote rural villages whose social-economic conditions are very poor. 99 of the villagers are subsistence farmers who mainly grow food crops for consumption. The result of the above is a very poor economic base with more than 90 of the families living in extreme poverty. Due to their remoteness, the area is neglected by the national government in areas of infrastructure-very bad roads, that are worse during the rainy season, poor schools that lack teachers and when teachers are available, their salaries are not regular and couple with poverty, makes life very hard for the villagers especially women and children to access health care
